The interlocutors emphasised the importance of the UN as a key mechanism for preserving peace and stability in the world, as well as for encouraging global socio-economic progress.
Jovanović stressed that Serbia attaches particular importance to the role of the UN in preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as that Serbia continues successful cooperation with the UN system in Serbia.
It was jointly assessed that Expo 2027 will represent an exceptional opportunity to promote Serbia and its development and innovation capacities.
Nasser took the opportunity to praise the organisation of the preparatory meeting in Belgrade, expressing confidence that the upcoming exhibition will be successfully implemented.
