Serbian athlete Angelina Topić won the bronze medal today in the women’s high jump at the World Championships in Tokyo.
Topić cleared 1.97 metres to secure the bronze, which she shared with Ukraine’s Yaroslava Mahuchikh.
The gold medal went to Australia’s Nicola Olyslagers, who cleared 2.00 metres on her first attempt. Silver was claimed by Poland’s Maria Żodzik, who also cleared 2.00 metres but on her third attempt.
