Police launches safe driving action

The Serbian Ministry of Interior said that in cooperation with the Serbian Automotive Association and the Automotive Inspection Association it will carry out a preventive and propaganda action of enhanced traffic control, called “Vehicle in order – safe drive”.
During the action, traffic police will check on vehicles and drivers, especially on roads and in streets in populated areas. If they notice any irregularities, the police will only warn drivers to remove those irregularities or will direct them to take their vehicles for technical inspection.
After this action, the police will enhance control of technical condition of vehicles and will sanction drivers for any violation of traffic rules or for driving non-functional vehicles.
