The officials agreed that the agreement on strategic cooperation between the governments of Serbia and the United States in the energy sector, to be signed soon in Washington, D.C., represents an important step in the improvement of bilateral cooperation, in which that sector occupies an increasingly important place.
Đedović Handanović pointed out that the United States has been one of the largest investors in Serbia in the previous decade and expressed her belief that this agreement will open the door for new investments in the energy sector, which will contribute to greater energy security and a sustainable transition towards clean energy sources.
