Out of 158 MPs, 153 voted in favour, five were against and there were no abstentions.
MPs also elected six Deputy Speakers, and these are Sandra Bozic, Marina Ragus, Edin Djerlek, Jovan Janjic, Elvira Kovac and Snezana Paunovic.
Srdjan Smiljanic was re-elected Secretary-General of the parliament.
