Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali spoke today with Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia Emanuele Giaufret, about the economic situation caused by global events and the implementation of important capital projects.
The officials discussed strategic projects in the field of infrastructure, which will be implemented in the future, and for which the European Union has shown interest in financially supporting them.
They also talked about current projects that are being implemented according to the planned dynamics, and which are important for a better quality of life for citizens.
Giaufret said that the European Union is ready to offer additional support where it is needed, as well as that it will continue to support key areas such as diversification in the energy sector, and that in this sense the project of building an interconnector with Bulgaria, which it financially supports, is important Union.
He said that he is satisfied with the cooperation that the EU Delegation has with the Ministry of Finance, which the Minister confirmed, and expressed his belief that the successful cooperation will continue in the future.
