Serbia ready to organise EXPO BELGRADE 2027

Belgrade/Paris, 20 June 2022

Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali stated today that our country is fully ready to host the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027, which would have for Serbia enormous political, economic, tourist, cultural and sporting significance.

On the occasion of today's presentation of Belgrade's candidacy for the organisation of the EXPO BELGRADE 2027 event in the premises of the International Bureau for Exhibitions based in Paris, Mali said that such events provide an excellent chance to strengthen international cooperation.

Serbia has proven itself countless times as an excellent host and as capable of organizing big, world, renowned events. It will be the same if we are chosen to host the International Specialized Exhibition in 2027, stated Mali.

The Minister of Finance, who is also the president of the Working Group for drafting and submitting the candidacy for the International Specialised Exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027, reminded that our proposal is to hold an exhibition on "Game(s) for humanity – sports and music for all" will be held in Belgrade from 15 May to 15 August 2027.

According to him, the candidacy for EXPO BELGRADE 2027 is another indicator of how much our country has changed and how much it has progressed, which is recognized and recognised all over the world.
