President Vucic hosted the German Chancellor during his first official visit to Serbia, where he is on a two-day visit to the Western Balkans, after he replaced Chancellor Angela Merkel in December.
Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic and Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic also welcomed Scholz in front of the Palace of Serbia.
After the welcoming ceremony, a tete-a-tete meeting between the two statesmen is planned, followed by plenary talks between the delegations of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany, led by President Vucic and Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
After the plenary talks, the two officials will address the media.
The German Chancellor, who was welcomed by the President of Serbia at the "Nikola Tesla" Airport, arrived in Belgrade from Pristina, and tonight he will travel from our capital to North Macedonia, Greece and Bulgaria.
