Eighth seed Jelena Jankovic, of Serbia-Montenegro, defeated Slovakia's Martina Sucha 7-6 (7/4) 6-3 in the Budapest Grand Prix final to win her first WTA title.

Jankovic won a tight first set on a tie-break before breaking in the first game of the second to seal victory.
"It's really special to win my first title. I did not expect to win but it feels great," said Jankovic.
