There are 421 patients on hospital treatment, of whom 27 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, three people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of dead is 15,956, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,432,261 people have been tested, and 2,001,654 have tested positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
