There are 540 patients on hospital treatment, of which 24 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, three people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of dead is 15,916, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,359,560 people have been tested, of whom 1,994,623 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
