There are 648 patients in hospital, 25 of them on respirators.
In the last 24 hours, 12 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,862, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,275,301 people have been tested, of whom 1,986,439 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
