After signing this document in the government of Serbia, Matic pointed out that the renewal of direct flights from Belgrade to Tel Aviv, which existed until 2019, is especially important for the development of tourist cooperation with Israel.
According to her, the precondition for more dynamic tourist cooperation, in addition to re-establishing direct flights between the two countries, is greater promotion of event, congress, active and spa tourism, for which Serbia is very famous.
She added that gastronomic tourism could also be interesting for guests from Israel, and in that context she reminded that 14 restaurants in the capital have recently been included in the Michelin guide.
Razvozov reminded that the trade exchange between the two countries amounts to €60 million, and that Israeli companies in Serbia are present in the field of real estate and innovation, adding that the potential for economic cooperation is much greater.
He pointed out that the job of the governments of the two countries is to encourage and improve business, and accordingly announced that the Israeli airline plans to renew direct flights to Serbia in a few weeks, with the expectation that Air Serbia will renew the flight to Tel Aviv.
