There are 753 patients in hospital, 42 of them on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, ten people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,737, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,108,141 people have been tested, of whom 1,966,078 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
