There are 1,372 patients in hospital, of whom 75 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 19 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,552, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,904,881 people have been tested, of whom 1,937,183 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
