There are 1,997 patients in hospital, 103 of whom are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 30 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,405, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,825,623 people have been tested, of whom 1,923,977 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
