The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia today sent instructions to its commissioners in every municipality in Serbia on how they can provide assistance to refugees from Ukraine.
The instruction states that, in accordance with the new situation in Ukraine, a number of people can be expected to address them for information and assistance.
The commissioners are informed that all persons who contact them are provided with accommodation and food in the reception centres, designated only for the accommodation of Ukrainian citizens, according to the disposition of the Commissariat.
For those Ukrainian citizens who currently have accommodation, it is possible to offer assistance in food, clothing, footwear, health care, inclusion in the education system, as well as access to other rights and services.
The commissioners were provided with a form to fill out, which expresses the needs of the persons who address them (accommodation, emergency, health care, clothing, footwear).
In case an unaccompanied minor appears, the competent centre for social work should be notified thereof immediately.
