There are 2,507 patients in hospital, 104 of whom are on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 42 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,241, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,754,776 people have been tested, of whom 1,910,975 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
