There are 2,680 patients in hospital, 110 of them on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 44 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,199, and the mortality rate is 0.80 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,740,109 people have been tested, of whom 1,908,272 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
