There are 2,981 patients in hospital, 107 of whom are on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 51 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 15,110, and the mortality rate is 0.79 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,719,026 people have been tested, of whom 1,903,494 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
