There are 3,488 patients in hospital, 145 of whom are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 54 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 13,513, and the mortality rate is 0.82 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,075,136 people have been tested, of whom 1,649,293 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
