There are 3,301 patients in hospital, of whom 142 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 40 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 13,417, and the mortality rate is 0.83 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,010,329 people have been tested, of whom 1,616,584 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
