The statement states that 2,196 patients are in hospital, of whom 74 are on ventilatory support.
In the last 24 hours, 25 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,831, and the mortality rate is 0.97 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,322,691 people have been tested, of whom 1,318,333 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
