The statement states that 2,109 patients are in hospital, of whom 87 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 25 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,739, and the mortality rate is 0.98 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,250,349 people have been tested, of whom 1,300,949 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
