The statement states that 2,051 patients are in hospital, of whom 84 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 27 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,621, and the mortality rate is 0.98 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,172,506 people have been tested, of whom 1,291,718 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
