The statement states that 2,314 patients are in hospital, of whom 108 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 29 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,461, and the mortality rate is 0.97 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,093,043 people have been tested, of whom 1,284,757 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
