The statement states that 2,889 patients are in hospital, of whom 144 are on ventilatory support.
In the last 24 hours, 34 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,275, and the mortality rate is 0.96 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,018,345 people have been tested, of whom 1,278,120 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
