The statement states that 2,963 patients are in hospitals, and that 168 people are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 31 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,209, and the mortality rate is 0.96%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,988,132 people have been tested, of whom 1,275,214 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
