The statement states that 3,180 patients are in hospital, and that 187 people are on ventilatory support.
In the last 24 hours, 38 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,113, and the mortality rate is 0.95 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,955,451 people have been tested, of whom 1,271,794 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
