The statement states that 3,511 patients are in hospitals, and that 197 people are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 39 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,075, and the mortality rate is 0.95 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,941,684 people have been tested, of whom 1,270,407 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
