There are 3,304 patients in hospital, of whom 194 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 41 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 12,036, and the mortality rate is 0.95 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,927,098 people have been tested, of whom 1,268,787 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
