There are 3,996 patients in hospital, of whom 199 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 54 people died as a result of the virus, so the total number of deaths is 11,691. The mortality rate is 0.93 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,814,207 people have been tested, of whom 1,254,845 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
