One of the main topics of conversation between Popovic and Borisov, who are also co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation between Serbia and Russia, was the issue of supplying Serbia with natural gas from Russia.
The issue of gas supply and price is the most important topic for Serbia at this moment. We expect that our country will get the most favourable gas price and that we will ensure energy stability in Serbia in the long run, Popovic said after the meeting.
The Minister pointed out that, in addition to gas, several bilateral agreements were discussed, which will be signed next week in Moscow.
He pointed out that the two sides are working on the preparation of numerous agreements in the field of infrastructure, transport, energy and innovations worth several billion dollars, emphasizing that these documents will open new perspectives for the development of cooperation between Serbia and Russia on strategic bases.
