There are 6,160 patients in hospital, with 254 people on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 56 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 11,007, and the mortality rate is 0.90 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,621,039 people have been tested, of whom 1,222,023 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
