There are 6,289 patients in hospital treatment, of whom 267 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 55 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 10,951, and the mortality rate was 0.90 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,603,023 people have been tested, of whom 1,218,423 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
