The Serbian national football team qualified for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, after beating Portugal 2:1 (1:1) last night in the last round of qualifications in Lisbon and winning first place in Group A.

The football players of Serbia reached the victory with the goals of captain Dusan Tadic in the 33rd minute and Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 90th minute, while the goal for the hosts was scored by Renato Sanchez in the 2nd minute.
Serbia will play at the World Cup for the second time in a row, and will go to Qatar undefeated in the qualifications, with the result of six victories and two draws.
