In a statement to the Tanjug agency, Popovic said that, counting the vaccines that arrived in Serbia last night, we approached the number of a total of two million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine that have been delivered to us from Russia since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to the 1.5 million that were produced at the Torlak Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera, that is a total of approximately 3.5 million Russian vaccines that were and are still in circulation in Serbia today, the Minister specified.
He pointed out that this makes Serbia one of the best supplied countries with the Russian vaccine in the world.
Sputnik V vaccines, produced at the Torlak Institute, have been in use at vaccination sites across the country since eight days ago.
