There are 6,792 patients in hospital, with 275 people on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 63 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 9,761, and the mortality rate is 0.87 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,253,869 people have been tested, of whom 1,125,602 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
