The Ministry of Health announced today that, since the last report, 17,354 people have been tested for coronavirus, of whom 5,733 were positive for the virus.

There are 6,724 patients in hospital, with 289 people on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 61 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 9,509, and the mortality rate is 0.87 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,159,689 people have been tested, of whom 1,098,209 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
