The Ministry of Health announced today that, since the last report, 20,852 people have been tested for coronavirus, of which 6,461 were positive for that virus.

There are 6,636 patients on hospital treatment, of whom 279 are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 52 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 9,157, and the mortality rate is 0.87 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,020,429 people have been tested, of whom 1,055,296 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
