There are 2,780 patients in hospital, 138 of whom are on ventilation.
In the last 24 hours, 28 people died as a result of the virus, so that the total number of deaths is 7,548, and the mortality rate is 0.92 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 5,241,284 people have been tested, of whom 816,912 were positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
