After the session of the team, Ruzic explained that the models will depend on the epidemiological situation and the number of vaccinated, the number of infected, the percentage of positive tests and how prevention measures are applied in schools.
He stated that the first model will belong to a completely safe environment, where educational work can take place in the school, for all students in the class at the same time, and the class lasts 45 minutes.
The second or combined model is the organisation of teaching through direct work and online. Classes are divided into groups of up to 16 students, one day they are at school, and the next day they listen to classes remotely, Ruzic said.
The third model, as he specified, is reserved for the most endangered municipalities, i.e., those that, according to the mentioned factors, represent a high degree of risk to the health of the general population in that specific environment.
The First Deputy Prime Minister added that regular classes will start in most schools, noting that the epidemiological situation in schools will be monitored by the school team, which consists of representatives of the Institute for Public Health "Milan Jovanovic Batut" and the relevant ministry.
According to him, based on the criteria in local governments, a certain model or combination of models will be applied, where municipalities will be classified in the green, yellow or red zone.
