Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic will pay an official visit to the Lebanese Republic on 17-18 August.
On that occasion, Minister Selakovic will deliver 40,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine as a donation of Serbia to Lebanon.
The donation will be received at the airport in Beirut by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Foreign Affairs of that country Zeina Akar.
During his stay in Beirut, the Serbian foreign minister will have separate meetings with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Hassan Diab and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Foreign Affairs Zeina Akar.
During his two-day visit to Lebanon, Minister Selakovic will also meet with Commander of the Lebanese Army General Joseph Aoun, as well as with UNIFIL Commander Major General Stefan Del Cole, and will visit members of the Serbian Army in the UN mission in Lebanon, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
