Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic announced that the Ministry of Tourism of the Hellenic Republic has successfully solved the problem of reading QR codes at closed checks and ports for citizens coming from outside the European Union.

Matic stated that the citizens of Serbia, as well as the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and other countries, had problems reading QR codes.
This is a question of a technical nature, which had to be resolved on the Greek side, and the Minister of Tourism of that country confirmed to me today that the problem has been eliminated, the Minister said.
Citizens coming from outside the European Union can enter enclosed spaces, such as cinemas, restaurants, cafés with a certificate of complete immunisation against coronavirus, or with a certificate that they have suffered from coronavirus in the period from one to six months before the trip.
The certificate can be in paper or electronic form, and a personal document must be attached thereto.
