Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic assessed today that the decision of the Crisis Response Staff allowing foreign tourists to enter Serbia from ships (cruisers) cruising the Danube, with a negative antigen rapid test, is an important step towards the recovery of the entire economy and the improvement of the economic situation in the country.

Matic explained that, given the epidemiological measures applied in our country, all ships/cruisers have so far only transited through Serbia, without stopping, because tourists from cruisers needed a negative PCR test to enter Serbia. the result is a long wait.
With the relaxation of this epidemiological measure, we expect that foreign tourists will no longer just pass by ships through our country, she said.
According to her, that will have a positive effect on increasing the foreign exchange inflow from tourism and contribute to the recovery of the tourist economy.
