The Ministry of Health stated that 6,679 persons were tested over the past 24 hours, of whom 178 tested positive for coronavirus, bringing a new total of coronavirus cases in Serbia since the start of the epidemic to 712,224.

Serbia records lowest daily number of new coronavirus cases in past eight months

This is the lowest daily number of new confirmed cases since 13 October, when 152 cases were registered.
702 patients are hospitalised, of whom 56 are on ventilatory support.
Ten patients died over the past 24 hours, bringing the total of coronavirus fatalities to 6,854 , with the death rate being 0.96%.
Since the start of the epidemic, Serbia has tested a total of 4,144,092 persons who met the case definition criteria.
