There are 2,289 patients in hospital, 80 of whom are on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, 15 people died as a result of the virus, which increased the total number of deaths to 6,725, and the mortality rate is 0.95 percent.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,041,471 people have been tested, of which 708,328 are positive for coronavirus, the statement said.
