Member of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team Branislav Tiodorovic confirmed that as of tomorrow, bars and restaurants will be allowed to work indoors until 10pm, at 50 percent capacity, respecting the distance of 1.5 to 2 metres and without music.
Tiodorovic said after today’s session of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team that this measure comes into force tomorrow at midnight and underlined that the health system is ready for the appearance of new coronavirus cases in between seven to 10 days, but not in numbers like in the previous period.
The virus is here, around us. We will hold the next session next week, when we will evaluate the situation based on the data and whether we can expect it to calm down, with fewer new cases, Tiodorovic said.
According to him, the number of deaths from coronavirus is still high.
He said that the decision was made that Serbian citizens living abroad, where they were vaccinated, can enter Serbia without limitations and added that he expects the countries they are coming from to apply the same measure towards Serbia, i.e. to introduce reciprocal measures.
Speaking about digital COVID vaccination certificates, Tiodorovic said that we are on the right path and that our certificates have been praised by some countries and the European Commission.
We hope they will be fully accepted and that we will have a rational method that will help us to communicate more easily and travel, he explained.
