Vucic pointed out that this hospital will be of great importance for the entire province of Vojvodina, because, for example, there will be 220 places of intensive care in it alone, while the whole of Vojvodina now has 170 such hospital places.
This shows how important the construction of hospitals is, how important it is for people living in Novi Sad and the province, the President of the Republic assessed and added that the money for this hospital was allocated in the budget.
He expressed confidence that the hospital will be built within the announced deadline – by 1 September.
The capacity of this health institution will be approximately 600 beds, of which approximately 400 will be intended for patients in semi-intensive care and 220 beds for the most difficult patients, i.e., for those who need intensive care.
After the end of the fight against the coronavirus, the facility will be turned into the City Hospital, where the citizens of Novi Sad of Vojvodina will be treated.
