At a joint press conference with Serbian member and Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik and Republika Srpska President Zeljko Cvijanovic, Vucic said that he had heard everything about the political situation in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina at a session of the High Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska.
It is important for us to try to develop our economies, while preserving peace and stability, in order to provide citizens with a different and better future, said the President of Serbia.
According to him, it is important that people in Republika Srpska and Serbia can see that they will have jobs, that their children will be able to survive in their hearths and that they will have a future.
We should not be overwhelmed by the worries of 25-30 years ago, but to know that peace is the future and that working together is the future, Vucic emphasised.
He pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina is the third export destination for Serbia, and the seventh partner in trade exchange – along with Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Hungary and Romania.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a very important partner for us and I believe that the trade exchange in 2021 can be significantly higher than in 2020, when due to coronavirus pandemic there was a drop of 11 percent, at the moment when we reached an exchange of €2 billion, he said.
Serbian member and chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik pointed out that this is the best period of Republika Srpska thanks to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his team, and Srpska can boast of many very important planned projects.
The Serbian delegation also includes Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.
